[Cialug] Speeding up Ubuntu 13.10 on my Dell Latitude

Make sure you have the proper 3D video drivers loaded, Ubuntu 13.x will be
super slow. Or downgrade to 12.04 LTS, which doesn't require 3D for the
desktop. Or install KDE on top of 13.x.
