[Cialug] sarge kernels

Whats the easiest way to install a 2.6.x kernel in sarge?
I have changed the sources.list for etch like everything I've found says to  
do.
But everything after that says it needs kernel ver 2.6, current ver is  
2.4.27-2-386.
This is on an old P75 so it's not going to have any GUI.
