[Cialug] OT: safe/reliable fuel-efficient cars.

Its really interesting that the Honda only gets 30ish mpg on the hwy. My
210hp 3.8l V6 in my 2001 Impala averages 33mpg on the commute and 22ish
in town. That's really good considering that I have a heavy foot.  The
car's safe, roomy and comfortable.  

Don't discount GM, just because of Honda's rep., at least give it look.

It was recalled to replace two bolts that caused an antifreeze leak, but
those issues have long been resolved. You really can't tell if you got a
reliable car until you've drove it for 4-5 yrs.
