[Cialug] Using System Rescue CD (Linux)

I created an ISO of System Rescue CD that I use to backup computer
partitions to our server. I was getting ready to work on a generic
computer we have (a custombuilt computer that was donated to us) and
when I boot it from CD, this happens ...

It gets to the Autoconfiguring devices and then I get a lot of numbers
with a stack and call trace for modprobe.old and then it says bad EIP
value. Then it attempts to continue but hangs after eth0: no IPv6
routers present.

Any thoughts? I'm sure it means I need to do some boot options, but
what?

Thanks,

Stuart
