Ok, I went back over a bunch of those comments and I saw nothing that 
said much about carbon (which'd be the wrong tech to use anyway) or 
proprietary-ness  of OSX. Can you link to something specific. Just 
because one OSS team has been ignoring a platform for eons doesn't 
really say anything bad about the platform.

Just to get it straight:
	Carbon == teh old and busted
	Cocoa == teh new hotness
