IIRC HDTV can have a higher resolution that DVD. Also the problem with
DVD is that it is lossy compressed video. You get artifacts and such
in the dark areas. I think HDTV is still compressed, but less so. I
can't wait to see fully uncompressed or lossless compressed 1080i
HDTV.
